Whitemark secures German government co-funding to finance develop of fast-charging battery for the fork-lift truck market

The grant of €1m which will support the project development between 2024 and 2026 was awarded by the German Federal Department of Economic Development and Climate Action to a conglomerate of companies headed by Whitemark. The aim of the project is to finalise the development and large-scale production of a fast-charging, recyclable battery.  

The pilot customer in the project is fork-lift manufacturer Kalmar Austria https://www.kalmar.de/, a historic producer with a particular focus on sustainability.
